Montrose Restoration and Renovation

The Montrose home was built in 1885. The owners needed 4 bathrooms renovated, all of which were leaking, having been last renovated in the 1920's. The ceiling in the foyer had been lowered at some point in time, so we reframed it to restore its original height and built custom crown molding to match the existing, using quarter sawn white oak. We also added structural support in the basement to replace the existing and damaged beams. This allowed us to remove 4 brick pillars in the basement and create a beautifully open space.
